I am not sure how long All Trails has had this many different file format options, but thought I would post this here anyway, in case others are running into the issue. The paid version removes all the ads from the app. When switching the option in the dropdown to “GPX Route,” the sync now works flawlessly, as it had before, and I am now getting new trails over into courses into the watch. The free version allows personal goal tracking, lifetime stats, and unlimited mapped routes among others. It now appears you can download either a “GPX Track” (the apparent default, and what I had been apparently trying to do), or a “GPX Route” (in addition to about 6-7 other formats). ![]() I am also not a fan at all of instead using a PC to sync courses over to my watch – being able to sync new info on the fly via the phone only and while in the field is very important to me.Īt any rate, I was fiddling around with the web browser interface on my phone on the AllTrails site, and noticed that there are now multiple options for file formats to download that you can select, for a given trail – in the past I had simply ignored even using that drop-down, because it always came up “GPX” as an option.
